Uh Oh O

My 1 year old son L has been learning lots of things and he almost knows all of his letters. I think it's a fun game we play where I make the letters sound like different things and he likes to copy me and laugh. For instance, the letter R will sound like a pirate saying arrrrrr. He would laugh and try to say it also. If he ends up getting close to the pronunciation, I give him a high five. It was our game for a few weeks. Fast forward to recent times and he is trying to piece together sentences with what he knows. It's so funny because he will take the most random things and stick them together. We were playing with letter blocks and that's where some magic happens.

L was picking up letters and bringing them to my wife in the playroom while our other two kids were playing by themselves. He ends up dropping the letter O on the way there, which is his favorite letter by far. He starts babbling and it sounded like he said O three times. Me and my wife paused and thought there was something more and there was. L was saying uh oh o!

The fact that L was sticking uh oh for dropping the letter next to the sound of the letter O was pretty funny (and amazing). He knows I say it a lot when I drop something or I do something wrong. So when he dropped the letter O, he just attached uh oh to it. All the time spent with him on letters, reading, and playing have really caught on with L and it was just a funny little moment with him.
