Ok Ok Ok
We have finally entered the LIl John phase of toddlerhood where my 1 year old son is saying ok to everything. Does he want to play? Ok. Does he want milk? Ok. Does he want to go to the car? Ok ok ok.
It’s the cute way he says ok that makes these little questions memorable. He understands that’s a way to acknowledge a question and most importantly, to get what he wants (because he said ok!). He catches on so quickly to things now and he is starting to have these small conversations. I know from experience it will move fast from here since the foundation is laid for communication.
After watching my other 2 kids grow up in the same way, it’s still amazing how the world blossoms for kids as they understand more. As a parent, I feel like it is just one long knowledge transfer session to help your kids understand how things work so they can get what they want out of life. They just need to build a strong foundation with one ok at a time.
