Purple Wonder

I bought the wrong tissue boxes at Costco a while ago. Instead of getting the thin cube-like tissues, I got the longer ones and we don’t have the right covers for those so they can match the room (my wife’s doing and not my choice). I now have to leave the boxes out to display their full vibrant colors.

As I was putting my 1 year old son L to sleep, we walked into my bedroom so I could wash my hands after changing him into his night diaper. He was looking around the room and then stopped when he saw that purple wonder of a tissue box. Then he just kept saying wowwwww wowwww wowwwwwwwww.

L was so amazed to see something so decorative and purple. It blew his little mind and stopped him in his tracks. I’m sure it made him so happy to see something so amazing as well. This small moment, but it made me remember to appreciate the little things because they are actually what makes life great. Even if it’s just a decorative purple tissue box.
