Dressed for School at Night

My 1 year old son L has lots of opinions about what to wear. As I mentioned before, it's always a fight to get him dressed, no matter what time of day it is. He has his particular pieces of clothes that he likes to wear, and he is attracted to anything colorful or with complex patterns.

I remember my wife telling me that I was insane for getting our 6 year old daughter E dressed for school at night so we didn’t have to fight with her in the morning when she was around the same age. If we got her dressed the morning of, she would definitely have a tantrum about what to wear. I just found a different way to get her dressed and it was much earlier than what my wife would have done.

Fast forward to the present day, she has given into getting L dressed for school at night. It only took her a few extra kids and a few extra years to arrive at the same conclusion I did early on. I'm glad we got here and I can rejoice in being right and reducing the early morning fights by a count of 1.
